Traumatic Myiasis Associated with Wohlfahrtia magnifica and Lucilia sericata Larvae in Dog

A large number of fly larvae were determined in the neck area of a dog brought to the clinics of K？r？kkale University Veterinary Faculty. These determined larvae were identified by considering the morphological characteristics of the cephalo-pharyngeal skeleton with the anterior and posterior spiracles of the larvae. These larvae were found to be third stage larvae of Wohlfahrtia magnificaand Lucilia sericata
