DETERMINATION THE WIND ENERGY POTENTIAL OF KAYALI CAMPUS OF KIRKLAREL? UNIVERSITYKeywords: Rüzgar Enerjisi,Moment,MLE Metodu,Da??l?m Fonksiyonlar?,Hata Analizleri Abstract: In this study, seasonal wind energy potential in Kayal? Campus of K?rklareli University, based on the wind speed data measured at 5 minutes intervals for the 2018 autumn period (September, October and November) was statistically analyzed. Weibull, Rayleigh and Gamma distributions were used in the wind energy potential of the region. The parameters of these distributions were calculated with Moment and Maximum Likelihood (MLE) methods. Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Chi-Square Test (X2) and Correlation Coefficient (R2) approach methods are applied to determine which distribution makes better modeling and proper approach. As a result of the analysis, the highest monthly power density values are; Weibull distribution calculated by the moment method for September month is 126.849 kW/m2, Weibull distribution calculated by the MLE method for October month is 97.441 kW/m2 and Weibull distribution calculated by the moment method for November month is 232.236 kW/m2, as follows
