The effect of intra-amniotic prebiotic inoculation on hatchability rate and hatching weight

This study evaluated the effect of intra-amniotic inulin and lactulose inoculation on broiler hatchability and hatching weight. Total of 160 embryonated eggs were divided into 4 groups of 40 eggs each. The first group was not injected and served as a negative control (NK). The next group was injected with 0.9% NaCl and served as positive control (PK). Experimental groups were inoculated with 2% (wt/vol) inulin (IN) or 2% (wt/vol) lactulose (LK). According to the out results, intra-amniotic administration of inulin and lactulose, as a prebiotic, did not affect broiler hatchability and hatching weight
