Approach To Anemia In Children

Abstract Anemia is defined as a reduction in red cell counts, blood hemoglobin concentration or hematocrit. The most common cause of anemia is iron deficiency anemiafor all age groups, especially infants and children between 6-24 months. Illness protective is more effective and important than its treatment. Prophylactic treatments in all earth especially in developing countries will mainly decrease frequency of irondeficiency anemia in future years.
