Destination Personality of Archaeological Site of Troy

Destinations are also known to have some personality traits such as people. The destination personality characteristics that coming into prominence and distinguishing destinations from their counterparts can provide a competitive advantage to the destination. This study was conducted to determine destination personality of The Archaeological Site of Troy where one of the hightlighting component of ？anakkale and important archaeological sites in Turkey. In this study, was tried to determine the destination personality of The Archaeological Site of Troy by evaluating the comments of the people who visited the place on the Tripadvisor.com website. In this context, content of the website was analyzed through content analysis method which is one of the qualitative research methods. After the analysis, it was determined that the destination personality of The Archaeological Site of Troy was prominent in three dimensions as sincerity-excitement, competence and ruggedness
