An Example Application On Comparison Of Six Sigma And Kaizen From Total Quality Managment Techniquies

Fast developing world markets, while passing through a major change , led to heavy and challenging competition between enterprises. Those enterprises who wish to sustain their presence in the highly competitive environment giving priority to customer demand while trying to increase their profit. Today, Total Quality Management becomes one of the mostly used management system for this approach. This new approach, related to it’s major reference scientific successes and the search for efficiency and productivity in business related to the adverse conditions they face due to the difficult economic conditions in our country become widely recognized and has found widespread use. In this study, Total Quality Management, Kaizen and Six Sigma techniques are examined, all the stages of two successfull application from two organizations, leading the food industry in our Country, applying these techniques and processes have been evaluated. As a result of this evaluation, where Kaizen and Six Sigma techniques used correctly and becomes a corporate culture, successfull results in improving efficiency and decreasing quality losses has been determined and guiding information is presented to the business and organizations who want to apply these techniques
