THE ATTITUDES AND BEHAVIOURS OF ASSOCIATE DEGREE TOURISM STUDENTS TOWARDS THE ENVIRONMENT

The aim of this study was to determine the university students' attitudes and behaviors towards environmental. The study was conducted on the students who received education 2016-2017 academic year in fall semester period at the Bal？kesir Vocational College Department of Tourism and Hospitality Program. In the research using general screening model, questionnaire form was used as data collection method and totally 113 students were applied. In the analysis of the data, mean, frequency and percent distributions as well as Independent Groups Test and One Way ANOVA were used. According to the findings of the study, it was found that the students' the environmental attitudes were at above average level and environmental behaviors were at a near the average. Finally, it has been determined that the attitudes and behaviors of the students to the environment differ in terms of gender, age, education level of their parents, but other factors do not show any significant difference
