THE EFFECT OF TOLERANCE LEVEL AGAINST FOREIGN IMMIGRANTS TO REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN TR222 REGION

Regional development is one of the most important aim of region in current economic understanding. While the countires have their own problems, a huge and irregular migration causes a disaster effect that leads to serious economic and social problems. Creative class is the dynamic actor of regional developent in the context of creative economy approach. Creative class prefers safety and tolerant regions. TR222 region has an attractive environment but there is not any study about the tolerance level of the region against foreing immigrants. In the study, the tolerance level of the region against foreing immigrants tried to be determine by using survey method. As a conlusion, it can be said that there are sveral problems that cause the declining the tolerance level of the region such as security problem. And also there is no evidence that shows these problems can be solved in the short run
