Al-Imam al-Matur？d？ ve manhacu ahli’s-sunnah fi tafseer al-Qur'an, Ahmed Sa‘d ed-Damanhur？

Matur？d？, who has an important place in formation of Qur’anic interpretation of Ahl Sunnah, lived in a considerably early period of Islamic thought. Especially after the publication of the translation of his books Kitabü’t-Tevh？d and Te’v？latu’l-Kur’an/Te’v？latu Ehli’s-Sunnah, recently in Islamic world interest in Matur？d？ and studies on his works has increased. In respect to his Te’v？latu’l-Kur'an that reflects mainly theologian side of him he is regarded as one of the most esteemed mufassir？n of early period, Matur？d？ has been object to, both in Arabic world and in our country, numerous academical works that studies him with respect to his different aspects. One of these works is Ahmet Sa‘d ed-Demenh？r？’s el-？mam el-Matur？d？ ve Manhacu Ahli’s-Sunnah f？ Tafs？ri’l-Kur'an in which he studied Matur？d？’s exegetical opinions in many aspects and which is one of the most voluminous recent works.
