The Effect of Temperature Difference on Frequency Period and Wave Size in Guitar and FluteKeywords: Dalga boyu, frekans, periyot, ses,s?cakl?k Abstract: In this study, it was examined whether the same notes played in guitar and flute are different in terms of period, frequency and wavelength and how they are affected by temperature changes. The period, frequency and wavelength of the guitar and side flute instruments were measured and the variation with temperature was observed. Period, frequency and wavelength measurements were taken at 24°C with guitar and side flute. Then, period, frequency and wavelength measurements were taken again at 10°C and the sound was made mathematically visible. According to the measured values, it was seen that period, frequency and wavelength were affected by the change of temperature of the environment. The most influenced musical instrument was the side flute. This reason may be due to the fact that the side flute metal ratio is higher than the guitar. As a result of the data obtained, it was observed that each sound forms a different frequency and frequency, period and wavelength values change at different temperatures. Side flute and guitar were also observed to have different periods, frequencies and wavelengths. As the period, frequency and wavelength vary with temperature, it is concluded that the tuning of each instr ument can be determined accor ding to dif ferent temperatur e value
