A General Overview On 15 July: From Military Tutelage To FET? TutelageKeywords: 15 Temmuz,FET?,Paralel Devlet,Askeri Darbe Abstract: One of the traditions of Turkish history is the military coups. The pressure that started over the military administration in the last period of the Ottoman Empire got a different dimension during the republic. The military who regarded himself as the guardian of the regime, indirectly or directly intervened politics in periods when the system is perceived to be in danger. After every intervention, the military who reinforced the field and the strength of his tutelage also achieved serious economic gains. The coup d’état on 15 July 2016 carries significant differences from all other deficits in the history of the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey. While in the previous coups the military was constructing its own guardianship; the army intended to give control to–a rogue gang, in other words a structure that defined itself as a religious community on July 15. In this article we will compare the previous interventions made by the soldiers for the establishment of military tutelage with the July 15th initiative and try to show that July 15 is aimed at providing a community guardian rather than a military coup attempt
