CHILD IN THE PRODUCTS OF SAMED BEHRENG？

Samed Behreng？ is one of the prominant names of Iran children’s literature and many of his work were also translated to Turkish. Behreng？ is also a good storyteller and a collector. He worked as a teacher and a journalist and also made important services for Turkish folklore with his collections and studies over Azerbaijani folklore. Both Behreng？’s tales for children and his stories similiar to tales which were translated to Turkish includes child concept and thoughs and messages about child development. Behreng？ handled various attributes and talents that children should develop in his writings. In this study, child theme in Behreng？’s tales and stories will be examined. First, information about Samed Behreng？’s live and literary personality will be given, based on various sources, and features of tales will be mentioned. Then, mother, father and child types in Behreng？’s works will be examined and his thoughts about family will be given place. This examination will be done according to the position of parents and child in the family. As conclusion, general structure of family and child in Behreng？’s tales and stories and messages towards children will be determined and analyzed
