To Be a Slow City in The Rural Slowness: Yenipazar

In the study, a questionnaire was applied to reveal the perceptions of Yenipazar people towards being a slow city. Cross-table analysis was used to analyze the relationship between the components of the slow city perception and the level of satisfaction of being a slow city. As a result, variables that were found have statistically significant differences were determined as age, period of residence and work; variables that were not found to have statistically significant differences were determined as gender, educational level and neighborhood. In addition, as a result of the frequency analysis of the responses of the participants to the statements taken in the questionnaire form, it was found that there are statements which the participants were only perceived as positive for the economical urban quality of life, however, except this, perceptions in general of physical / spatial, environmental, social and cultural urban quality of life were negative. The rural characteristics of Yenipazar is also effective in this emerging result
