ANALYZING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOME DEMOGRAPHIC FEATURES AND AGGRESSION AMONGST UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Aggression has always been an important subject for psychology. It is difficult to define aggression because of it’s multidimensional background. Generally, it is defined as any behaviour towards another individual that is carried out with the immediate intent to cause harm. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between some demographical features (such as age, sex, education, family) and aggression amongst university students. The research group of this research was consisted of 205 students from various faculties and fields. Personal Information Form and Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire were used to obtain datas. The result of this study indicates that there is no relationship between age and aggression. There are meaningful relationships between sex, situation of parents, education and aggression
