Structural and Bio-Technical Analys？s of Cage Aquaculture Farms in Down F？rat Basin

In this study, the structural and bio-technical analyses of cage-fishing enterprises registered to the provinces of ？anl？urfa and Gaziantep located in Karkam？？ and Birecik Dam Lakes region known as Down F？rat Basin were investigated. In this sense, total of 28 licensed enterprises (11 from Gaziantep, 17 from ？anl？urfa) were chosen and their structural-biotechnical analyses were determined. In this study, it has been revealed that the use of cages were unefficiently, stock density was low, feed consideration rates were high, capacity usage rates and water area usage rates were low. According to obtained data; in order to increase enterprises’ productivity, they ought to hire expert and competent staff, do regular book keeping and good organization, and have a good tight inspection by inspector
