Plaque with asymptomatic verrucous surface on the right leg: Dermatofibroma

Dermatofibroma is a benign fibrohistiocytic neoplasia. The etiology of dermatofibroma remains uncertain but it is considered to have a traumatic origin such as an insect bite or follicular rupture.
