Nobel Economic Sciences Prizes and Interaction with Economic Science

Economics is not based on exact causal relations as natural sciences. It is also open to discussion of many different methods. It has been developed as a result of the continuous change in the researched world and human relations and the continuous variation of the methods discussed. Many Nobel Prizes have been received in other years, especially in the economy. When the 49-year history of the Nobel Prize for Economics has been examined, it is seen that the studies using mathematical methods with predominance are more rewarding. However, in recent years, the importance of economic studies, which examine the psychological factors of people in the awards, has increased and the Nobel Prize has begun to be seen. In this study, we wanted to examine the views that are diversified depending on the economic issues and problems that economic science has to define and analyze within the framework of the Nobel Prize for Economics. This study aims to contribute to the literature by presenting the studies on economics in the field of economics by examining the award-winning economists and their award-winning works until 1969-2018
