Technical Difficulties of The Cello Parts in Tchaikovsky, Erkin, Prokofiev’s Orchestral Works

This study examines sight reading of orchestral parts in undergraduate students’ curriculum in the Cello Division of Strings Instrument Major at the Anadolu University State Conservatory, Turkey. Study participants are students in this division. The large number of works in the orchestral repertoire directed this study to a specific frame, and works were selected from the content of the orchestral repertoire course with the guidance of the lecturer. The research benefited from the views of experts in examining camera recordings. One expert works as a cello teacher at the Anadolu University State Conservatory Music Department and the other is an Anadolu University Symphony Orchestra cello group member
