These plays help formation of social unity as well as aiming at blessing the mid seasons or seasonal cycles. Therefore, they contain significant information related to the society to which they belong. In Kars, some plays are performed for welcoming the new year and for the new year to last in abundance and plenitude. One of these is Galga?an. This play is referred as a play performed by the Alevi in December of the Julian Calendar. It is played in the villages of Selim and Sar?kam?? districts of Kars. One other play is Kad? Beg. It is mostly played in Sar?kam??. Similar to each other more or less, the same play exists in the villages of Ka??zman, Digor, Sar?kam?? and Akyaka districts with the name of Seri Sali, and it means the 'new year'. Even though these plays are similar to the known K?se/K?se Gelin or Kosa/Kos-Kosa plays in the territory of Azerbaijan, there are differences in terms of their playing times and certain practices. In this study, these plays obtained by means of compilation are given in the form of text and their comparisons will be made with other plays. At the same time, the persons in the plays, the equipment used and the costumes will be symbolically interpreted
