AN ANALYSIS ON REPRESENTATION OF WOMAN IN MALE-DOMINATED WORLD WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF THE SERIAL OF "E？KIYA DüNYAYA HüKüMDAR OLMAZ

From the earliest days of mankind, the separation of woman and man and their cultural shaping manifest themselves. Today, media and specially television, which is located in every aspect of human life, establishes visual images in emphasizing the characteristics of cultural structure when establishing female and male images. Within the scope of this study, the media is going to focus on the positioning of the female image and the presentation of male do minated structure through the series. TV series are attracted attention with high audience ratings as well as narration structures established on the series. Mafia type male characters placed in the audience through the series are presented with many similar features. Beside the male characters placed in the visual mind of the spectator, attempts are made to portray the establishment of an narrative structure depicting female characters that exemplify their behavior. When the woman is presented in the media, beside the male dominated structure, the sexua ldifference of women, cultural placements and media are also examined with teliteraturem study before the woman is recon structed. Later on, the three women in the series “E？kiya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz" are trying to be done in the form of semantic discourse analysis through the main characters. In addition, traces of some concepts related to the woman placed with Ye？il？am cinema without work are also sought
