The Use of Canola Plant and its By-Products in Ruminant Feeding

The canola plant that green grass, dry grass, silage, meal, oil and different protein concentrates produced by removing antinutritional factors of rapeseed are also used in animal feeding. Canola meal, especially of canola products, is produced at less cost than soy bean meal. Protein ratio is lower compared to soybean, which is seen as a disadvantage. Scientific studies on canola and its products on ruminant animals show that the canola will be an alternative feed source in the near future
