Investigate Young Peoples’ Perception, Attitudes and Perspectives on AgingAbstract: Objective: Aim is to investigate the young people's knowledge and thoughts about the elderly with aging process and to determine the requirements. Material and Method: The descriptive study was implemented with 120 students who were selected by random sampling method in four different faculties. Findings: 25% of young people are in the family and 76,7% are in the immediate vicinity of the elderly. It was reported that 48% of the young people wanted to live with age, because of the experience (50%) and liking (25%); whereas 60% of the young people do not want to live with the elderly. 58,4% of them are negotiate moderately and 35,8% of them have found burden moderate level of care of the elderly. 74,2% thought that they have a generational conflict and 63,3% want to live with their parents. 39,2% think that the old age period should be close to the children of the elderly and 34,2% should be close to their children but at home. It was found that the gender of the youth and the school type were related to the true and false myths (p<0,05). There is a meaningful relationship between young people's school type and wishes to live with their parents' (p=0,05). Conclusion: There is a need to develop new care models, to provide elderly professional service support with family care, to increase counseling and support services, and to make necessary arrangements
