THE INVESTIGATION OF DISSERTATIONS ON Z GENERATION WITH CONTENT ANALYSIS METHODKeywords: Z Ku?a??,Hakim De?erler,Kültürel Kodlar,Ku?ak S?n?fland?rmas? Abstract: Time intervals which are formed with worldwide economic and social movements are called generation. Also, the concept of generation is defined as community of people who were born nearly in the same years, experienced the life conditions of almost the same era, and coped with also the similar difficulties and had similar destinies and responsibilities with the other people. Every era has its prevailing values, cultural codes, and there are frames of mind and customs being shaped by these values and codes. It is seen to be effective to examine these eras across generations in order to have more reasonable results, and at the same time, to understand these eras and to make various predictions. Generally, in the twenty-first century generation classification is made as Traditionalists, the Baby Boomer, Gen X, Y, and Z. Only generation Z is included because of nearest to the day in this study. Thus, the main aim of this study is to investigate the methods of content analysis of theses written on the generation Z in Turkey. The most important findings about the content of 15 theses reached from the Higher Education Institutions Thesis Database are as follows: almost all dissertations are master thesis and most thesis is written in 2016. The page average of theses is 129 and the sample average is calculated as 324. A large majority of dissertations were found to have quantitative patterns, while correlations and t-tests were found to be the most beneficial analyzes
