The Concept of Evil and an Approach to the Ece Ayhan’s Works in the Context of the Problem of EvilKeywords: K?tülük,estetik,edebiyat ve k?tülük,?iir ve k?tülük,Ece Ayhan Abstract: Evil, which is included with the aesthetic of the truth of life, includes broad content as a controversial concept. There are numerous definitions of evil and whether or not evil is a judgment of the subjective mind. Evil is primarily considered a human concept. Also, evil is eventually involved in the aesthetic and literature of being human. The evil that exists in literature appears because of the artist’s descent into reality. Since evil and truth are intertwined, there is nothing wrong with looking for evil in the limits of truth in literature because evil has usually been pushed directly out of reality. In this study, Ece Ayhan, whose works we will examine within the context of evil, had looked for evil within the limits of truth, and by building his literary works with evil, such as history, power, society, state, prostitution and so on, he separated from other members of the literary world of his time as an artist who “deepened” evil. So we will question Ece Ayhan’s side, in which he considers evil as a “problem”; in the context of his prose and poems, findings of evil will be interpreted in various ways
