Scientific activities have always existed during the history of Islam in places dominated by Muslims. After being conquered by Muslims, a vitality has taken place in Sirnak and the surrounding areas and many scholars have been brought up. One of them is Seyyid Feyzullah Erzen (d. 2002). The life of Seyyid Feyzullah Erzen has been through his science. He has studied many important scholars and has had many students. In his work named Levami'ul-Cevahir, which has become one of the important figures of his era with his works and students, besides the religious sciences such as tafsir, hadith, kalam, as well as medicine, geography, nahiv, khat, consumables and literature, geology, philology and anthropology, it is seen that some information related to different areas has been transmitted.
