Child Victimization From Past to Present

This study aims to solve the lack of knowledge in the field and contribute to the solution of the problems experienced in this regard by compiling and presenting the literature on the prevalence of child victims in the world from the past to the present. In this study, published scientific studies on child victimization were reviewed and about this subject international reports and cases were collected. Historical records of children being victimized and current statistics of today's world are compiled and evaluated from a holistic perspective. In accordance with the information obtained in this context, various suggestions have been developed in order to reduce child suffering and ultimately not to experience it. Governments for children who have been victimized for a number of reasons with numbers of millions should take major steps not only at the national level, but also globally and they should make sanctions more effective for the protection of children who are adults of the future
