INVESTIGATION OF HAPPINESS LEVELS OF TEACHER CANDIDATES ACCORDING TO THE SUBJECT QUALIFICATIONS

In this study, it was aimed to examine the happiness levels of prospective teachers according to various variables. The research model is a descriptive survey model. The study was applied to 439 university students studying in various departments of a state university in Central Anatolia during the 2018-2019 academic year. 338 (77%) of the participants were female and 101 (23%) were male. “Oxford Happiness Scale” was used to collect the research data. T-test and one-way ANOVA were used for data analysis. Results: At the end of t test; happiness scale scores; gender does not differ significantly according to the variable. According to the results of one-way analysis of variance, no significant difference was found between the Oxford Happiness Scale scores and the number of siblings; There is a significant difference between family income level and perceived parental attitude variables.
