Comparison of Proposed Zone Controlled Smart LED System with Fluorescent and Normal LED Lighting Systems in Daylight Exposed Place

Energy efficiency has important issues nowadays and the electricity consumed for lighting has a large share. Therefore, the use of lighting systems that have good visual comfort and low consumption at the same time is becoming increasingly widespread. The choice of lighting fixtures takes into consideration factors such as frequency of use, light quality, consumption, initial investment and maintenance cost. Fluorescent and LED light sources, which are highly preferred in illuminating indoor spaces, differ from each other. On the other hand, the ability to control the lighting level of the lighting sources enhances energy efficiency. In this study, in order to illuminate a day lighting class, an 8 number 4x18 W fluorescent lamp, uncontrolled normal LED and the proposed regional controlled LED systems were used to evaluate the efficiency of the system with the measurement results
