University Students’ Perceptions about Urbanity Consciousness: The Case of Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University

People migrate to the city or to the city for various reasons. For this reason, the city gained importance after the beginning of settled life and continues to increase its importance.It is also the mos tcommon settle mentareaused today. The fact that living in the city, adapting to the city and adopting the city is meaningful at this point.The way to have urban awareness is throug hurbanization and being an urban individual. For this reason, it is not possible for citizens living in citiesto form and develop urban awareness in a short time. The process of urban intelligence is a long process and the individual, social, economic and physical factors are influential.This study focuses on explainingthe connection between urban consciousness and urban citizenship which is created by urbanization. In this study, the students who graduated from ？anakkale undergraduate students who are studying in the last grade are investigated whether they are urban citizens and whether they have urbanism consciousness.
