The Activites of the Foundations and the Essence of It in Timurids Period

The foundations were important part of social, economic and cultural life in Islamic states from the middle of 8th century to the end of 19th century. Obviously the same institutions prevailed among Turkic nations too. The sense and action of charity which appeared legally with the foundations were the main aspects of Turkic-Islamic civilization. The Timurids period is important in the history of Turkistan after Islam. In this period the region of Turkistan revived considerably in fields of literature, art, architecture and so on.
