Determination Of Cryptosporidium spp by Molecular Methods In Different Water Resources Durin ErzincanKeywords: Cryptosporidium parvum,i?me ve kullanma suyu,LAMP Abstract: Cryptosporidiumhas been accepted as a major enteric protozoan pathogen in human and many animal species since last 30 years.Water is seen as one of the most important means of transporting Cryptosporidium.Today, Cryptosporidiumhas become one of the newest and most important contaminants to be controlled in drinking waters.Based on this, we have collected samples of potable water and drinking water from 140 districts and villages of Erzincan province between March and August of 2016 for 6 months.PCR and LAMP techniques were applied to the collected samples.PCR yielded 6 (4.3%) positive results in 140 water samples, whereas 9 (6.4%) of 140 water samples with LAMP were positive for Cryptosporidium spp.This data obtained as a result of our work and the contamination in the waters of Erzincan which is a livelihood of agriculture and livestock are caused by the exposure of infected animal feces to the environment and the access of agricultural wastewater to the water resources through environmental waters and the contamination of wet rain and humid air and drinking water and environmental waters
