INVESTIGATION OF THE PURCHASING PREFERENCES OF INDIVIDUAL PENSION SYSTEM FOR DEMOGRAPHIC VARIABLES

The individual pension system is a system that aims to maintain the welfare of individuals during their retirement, is voluntary, participates in various funds in the form of monthly contributions, and creates an additional source of income during retirement and is based on public-private cooperation. In this context, in this study, it is examined whether consumer individual penion purchase intention and purchasing behaviors differ according to demographic characteristics. For this purpose, data were collected by face-to-face survey method with 430 bank customers living in the city center of Sivas province, easily identified by sampling. Independent Samples T Test and One-Way ANOVA were applied to the data. According to the results of the analysis, consumer retirement purchase intention and purchasing behaviors differ according to some factors, while others do not show a statistically significant difference. In the internal consistency analysis, the Cronbach α coefficients of the factors were found as follows: 0,782 for BES buying intention and 0,843 for BES buying behavior.
