Abstract: This study aimed to: (1) – Proposal of an instructional design model, to build online websites for teaching Arabic language to non-native speakers. (2) – Evaluating a sample of these sites in accordance with the proposed model. Study questions: (1) - What are the stages and standards of a model to design a website for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers? (2) - What is the extent of the presence of these suggested standards in these websites? Results of the study (1) - Preparation of an instructional design model derived from the model of Ruffini. (2) - List of criteria for the construction and evaluation of online websites for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers consisting of six main stages and twenty-five standards. (3) - There is a weakness in online websites in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers in relation to the instructional design stages of the proposed mode, and this weakness is reflected in the needs analysis and goals stage. The results of this study emphasize the importance of each of the instructional design standards and the participation of technicians and teachers of second languages in building linguistic e-content according to scientific standards
