Ali et-Tantav？’nin (1909-1999) ？ocukluk Hat？ralar？ndan Se？meler

Syrian author Ali al-Tantav？ is one of the important witnesses of the twentieth century. Memories have an important place in his writings ranging from newspaper-journal articles to published books. Zikarayat is the widest book that he devoted to his memoirs. This paper aims to present samples from the memories which had mentioned in this book. Two chapters were chosen to translate from its original Arabic to the Turkish language. The chosen chapters are about his childhood memories. While translating, generally, the goal text has bounded by the original text both in terms of form and in terms of meaning
