SCHENKERIAN ANALYSIS OF J. S. BACH’S BWV 254 CHORALE HARMONISATION ACCORDING TO LORI BURNS’ APPROACH (Ach Gott, Erh？r’ Mein Seufzen)

In this paper, J. S. Bach’s chorale harmonization of cantus firmus “Ach Gott, erh？r’ mein Seufzen” (BWV 254) was analyzed in a Schenkerian perspective that was suggested in Lori Burns’ dissertation “J.S. Bach’s chorale harmonizations of modal cantus firmi” (1991)
