MOTHER OF KONYA: NIMETULLAH UZLUK (1914-2000)

Nimet Uzluk who belonged to the Miralayzades, one of the well-established families in Konya, got married into the Uzluks, another well-established family. She protected the cultural heritage of Konya via the Association of Monuments where she took office with the support of her husband Sehabettin Uzluk and also the orphans via the mothers’ association.
