Analysis of The “I Was Given The Jawami Al-Kalim” Hadith

The “I was given the Jawami al-kalim” narration attributed to the Prophet is in the basic hadith sources and a well-known hadith among the scholars of science. Jawami al-kalim, refers to self-words that contain many meanings. However, there is a consensus among scholars about what the Messenger of Allah means with this narration. Some say that the Qur’an is meant, while some say that the meant are hadiths Some say that the Qur’an is meant, while some say that the meant are hadiths. In the some narrations, the fact that it is mentioned as one of the characteristics of the Prophet also makes it important to point out and analyze this narration. In this study, the sources of the narration were identified, differences between narrative texts are mentioned, the different views around cevamii were examined and a general evaluation has been made
