Investigations on Forage Yield, Yield Parameters and Some Forage Quality Characteristics of Oats Varieties and Lines Grown Under Irrigated Conditions in KonyaKeywords: Yulaf, kaba yem, genotip, ham protein,ADF,NDF Abstract: Oat is an important cereal as human food and animal feed. In this research, it was aimed to evaluate some oat (Avena sativa L.) genotypes (lines and cultivars) sown at the end of March for forage yield and forage quality parameters. Research was carried out in Konya irrigated conditions, in 2018 seasons with 12 oat genotypes [nine lines (BDY-1, BDY-2, BDY-3, BDY-4, BDY-5, BDY-6, BDY-7, BDY-8, BDY-9) and three were registered cultivars (Dirili?, Cheocota, Seydi?ehir)]. The trial was established according to the Randomized Blocks Experimental Design with three replications. Oats genotypes were harvested at milk to dough period. Forage yield, dry forage yield, crude protein ratio, dry matter ratio, ADF, NDF and ash ratio were investigated. Results indicated that forage yield, values ranged between 2342-3109 kg/da and dry forage yield between 614-994 kg/da, crude protein ratio ranged between 9.64-11.53%, dry matter ratio between 21-35%, ADF ratio between 37.82-41.75%,NDF ratio between 52.79-57.80%, ash ratio between 7.39-9.87%
