EARLY PIECES COMPOSED WITH 12 TONE TECHNIQUE ON CLASSICAL GUITAR REPERTOIRE AND APPLICATION OF TONE ROWS

After publication the first piece composed with 12 tone technique by Schoenberg, it can be seen that composers such as Anton Webern, Theodore Norman, Richard Rodney Bennett, Frank Martin, Reginald Smith Brindle, Pierre Boulez, Ernst Krenek and Milton Babbitt carried this new composition technique to the classical guitar repertoire. In this article, early guitar pieces composed with 12 tone technique has been researched. Tone rows and how these ton rows were applied to pieces composed by Anton Webern, Theodore Norman, Richard Rodney Bennet and Frank Martin has been examined. Also some findings have been reached about the first published classical guitar piece composed with 12 tone technique
