The Effect of Acute Fatigue on Static Balance in BoxersKeywords: statik denge,boks,laktat,anaerobik,kuvvet Abstract: Aim of this study was to determine effect of acute fatigue on static balance in boxers. Participants were 10 elite level boxers who voluntarily accepted to attend this study. Their average age was 23.00±4.58year, average height was 175.58±4.67cm and average weight was 72.71±9.27 kg., Static balance test was used before and after Wingate test which was used for getting acute fatigue. Blood lactac level test was also used for dorsal and leg strength as indicater of fatigue. Repeated measure MANOVA was used for statistical calculation. Then, ANOVA was used for checking main effects and bonferonni post hoc correction was applied for dual comparison of variables. P-value was set as .05. Results showed that boxers’ lactac values before fatigue was statistically significant than those after fatigue (p<.05). Scores of dorsal and leg strengths were close. Results also indicated that there were statistically significant difference on boxers’ static balance before/after fatigue and their eyes open or closed (p<.05). As a conclusion, before and after fatigue, elite boxers’ lactac level increased, fatigue negatively affected static balance, boxers with open eyes had better static balance
