Abstract:

Fungi have an important place in The World of Living in terms of both numbers of species and nutritional values. Besides nutritional values, fungi are important for human health. However, due to the accumulative properties of fungi, they can collect heavy metal ions harmful to human health in the soil and air. In addition, fungi thanks to these features are a good environmental monitor. In this study, It was determined using ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry) spectrometry that the heavy metal (Al, As, Cd, Co, Cu, Cr, Fe, Mg, Mn, Ni, Pb, Se, and Zn) ion contents of some agaricoit mushroom samples, which were collected within the borders of ?orum province. In this study, it was aimed to determine the heavy metal element levels in the fungus samples belonging to the Agaricaceae family growing in different geographically regions within the boundaries of ?orum. In conclusion, minimum and maximum heavy metal ion concentrations were determined for the mushroom samples used in the study. In all mushrooms examined, all minerals except arsenic and nickel were determined. In the study, the highest ions in terms of heavy metals in the contents of fungi were Al, Fe and Mg, while the lowest ions were Co, Pb and Se
