HYDROGEOLOGICAL PROPERTIES AND WATER QUALITY OF ？ORAK LAKE (BURDUR) BASIN

In this study, geological and hydrogeological properties of the ？orak Lake were investigated. In addition, the water quality of the water resources in the basin was evaluated. ？orak Lake that holds seasonal water and has an area of 10 km2.The allochtonous and neo-autochthonous rock units are observed with different age and lithology in the lake basin. The most important recharge source of the lake is rainfall and the maximum rainfall in the basin is 443.91 mm. Groundwater depths vary between 2.2 m and 36.1 m in the region and groundwater flow direction is towards the ？orak Lake. Based on water quality assessments ,the surface and spring waters in the basin are classified as 1st water quality
