PRIMARY SCIENCE TEACHERS' ATTITUDES AND OPINIONS ABOUT THE NEW SCIENCE TEACHING PROGRAM

In this study, it is aimed to determine the opinions of elementary school science teachers about the science curriculum. The study group was selected by random sampling 100 science teachers who worked in the provincial center, district center and villages of Turkey. "Attitude scale towards science course" which is content 24 items measured with a five-point Likert-type scale by Tüysüz ve Ayd？n, was used for data gathering tool. Data were collected with analiz Google Form and analyzed with SPSS ver 22.0 package program. The t-test and ANOVA analyzes were used to analyze the data. The answers of the teachers to the items in the scale were examined according to the characteristics of the research group (gender, year of occupation, location of the school where he worked and in-service training). There was no significant difference between the opinions of the teachers according to their gender, seniority year, the place where they work and their in-service training
