Abstract:

Abstract Home Care Service is a service that is defined with the impact of neccessity of promoted effectively of long-term treatment and rehabilitative care continuity and it is a service that is presented health and social services professionally in a person’sown home or his/her living envirment on the purpose of promoting, enhancing and restoring people’s health, functions and comfort. Malnutrition is often seem in home care patients based on under nutrition. Adaquate and balanced nutrition is one of the basic neccessities on maintaning vital functions. Adaquate and balanced nutrition plays a role in promoting health, preventing and treatment of diseases, therefore increases life quality. Nutrition follow-up is too important to inhibiting any complications and to minimizing inappetancy based on medication, diseases and psychological status. Anthropometric measurements, food intake, laboratuar tests and nutrition status screenings should be followed regularly and neccessary measures should be taken
