A STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF THE SUCCESS OF HARRAN UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES STUDENTS IN ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE COURSES ON JOB PREFERENCES AFTER GRADUATIONKeywords: Muhasebe,Finans,Muhasebe E?itimi,Finansal Ba?ar? Abstract: Nowadays good education starts from primary school and continues to junior high school, high school and university. While some of the graduates continue their way through post-graduate education, most of them are in search of jobs in different sectors. The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, which is at the forefront with the number of graduates, creates job opportunity for some with a wide range of business areas offered to its graduates. But it can cause disappointment for some because their graduates do not know what to do and remain unemployed. Purpose of the study is to determine the effect of the courses of accounting/finance in the faculty preferences of Harran University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences students, to measure the success levels in the accounting courses and to determine the role of accounting in post graduate business preferences. The study was carried out by 447 students who attended Harran University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in the last year of Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration and Public Finance departments. Students were asked questions about success in accounting/finance courses and post-graduation goals. The demographic characteristics of 447 students who answered the questionnaire were examined whether there were any differences between post graduation goals in accounting courses and it is found that there weer a number of differences
