ISLAMOPHOBIA IN FRANCEKeywords: Fransa,Müslümanlar, entegrasyon,?tekile?tirme, islamofobi,?rk??l?k,ayr?mc?l?k,g??men Abstract: The integration policies on the other hand, like it has been in all over the Europe in the 1990s, had started in France as well and as the Higher Commission of Integration (HCI) has been established, it was when the process of institutionalization has started. Within the period of history and politics the integration policies have taken a form and as of today a language of marginalization has been adopted against the Muslim population in France. In the article, a study was conducted to understand the results of the research by the interpretive method and the reasons that led to the marginalization of Muslims through the structure of HCI, during the institutionalization process of integration policies in France. Rather than conducting a research through HCI (Beaugé J. & Hajjat A., 2014), the historical process of migration in France, the political events from the 1990s to the present and the holistic analysis of social changes have been made. Hence, from the 2000s it has been realized that the concept of secularism has a recognition which separates the public and the private realm and through this the government’s implementation of inhibition and the usage of a language of marginalization against the Muslims has been normalized. After the terrorist attack which took place in Paris in 2015, whilst the strengthening of the security policies has led to an increase in the islamophobia movements, it also provoked the marginalization expressions to become more rigid. As a result, it has been found that marginalization is in fact related to national policy, political discourses and country’s agenda
