The Influence Of Childhood Traumatic Experiences, Adult Attachment Styles And Psychological Well-Being On Marital SatisfactionKeywords: Ba?lanma stilleri,evlilik doyumu,?ocukluk ?a?? travmalar?,psikolojik iyi olu? Abstract: Objective: The main purpose of the study is to analyse the childhood traumatic experiences impact on marital satisfaction. While considering the childhood trauma and attachment styles impacts on marital satisfaction, differences between some socio-demographic factors such as marital style, length of marriage and education level will also be referred. Methods: Participants are randomly selected between women married more than a year and they filled out Childhood Trauma Questionnaire, Experiences in Close Relationship II (YIYE-II) and Symptom Assesment-45 (SA-45), Relationship Happiness Questionnaire (IMO), Personal Information Form including sex, age, education, marital status, length of marriage, number of children and type of marriage related questions. Results: According to the results of the statistics, there was no statistically significant difference between socio-demographic factors and marital satisfaction. However, significant relationships have been found between marital satisfaction and attachment styles, psychological well-being, and traumatic experiences. Statistical results showed that there is a negative relationship between marital satisfaction and attachment styles, psychological well-being and traumatic experiences. Conclusion: According to the results of the study, adult attachment styles impress marital satisfaction. It is thought that it is important to evaluate and handle attachment problems in couple therapy studies
