Quality Of Social Services: Van Application

The social and cultural changes as well as the increasing competition in today's economic conditions have led to an increase in the level of importance given to enterprises by quality. While quality is the most important competitive tool in profit-oriented enterprises, it is the initiative of quality organization in non-profit-oriented enterprises. In this study carried out around the province of Van, the qualifications of the social welfare institutions serving with a profit-oriented understanding were evaluated. In evaluating the quality of service, besides the five dimensions of the Servqual scale, the informing dimension was also taken into account. In the analyzes made, it was seen that the quality level of social assistance services was not good enough in terms of all quality aspects, especially informing. According to the evaluation, respectively the providing institutions which the highest quality social assistance services are; foundations, associations, municipalities, social assistance and solidarity foundations and other charities
