A RESEARCH ON DIFFERENT PRACTICES IN RUSSIAN WEDDINGS TRADITION

Mankind has formed a marriage institution in order to maintain its generation. Because in many societies being a child is possible only in marriage. For this reason, societies have long been careful to ensure that their growing children are firmly attached to family bonds. Every nation has rich traditions and customs, including marriage and family-building ceremonies that have been going on for thousands of years. Some of these traditions have changed over time, have been forgotten, or completely different forms have emerged in places where the beliefs and social situations of the society are influenced. Weddings carry the common characteristics of religion and lifestyles of nations. Religious beliefs have also been a major influence on weddings and these have continued for centuries. Today in Europe and other Christian societies, as before a wedding is arranged absolutely through the church. Russians are very interested in family members and the wedding traditions.
