TELECOMMUNICATION TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS: COMPARISON OF TRANSMISSION CAPACITY AND TRANSMISSION DISTANCEKeywords: Telekomünikasyon,Uzak ara ileti?im,Transmisyon,?letim Sistemleri Abstract: In this article communication provides telecommunications systems to transmission of the transmission system of the elements of the delivery capability of the traffic of the requested information and capacity-known that moved farthest transmission distance of investigating obtained and by far the communication systems can transmitinformation.carried.by.their.capacity.were.compared.with.those.aspects. In the transmission systems developed since the 1970s, PCM (Pulse Code Modilation) analog digital 30 channel signal converting systems were used in the first time. Later, due to the high capacity information transmission requirements, PDH (Plesiochronous Digital Gierarchy) systems with up to 48 channel capacity have been developed. In the 1980s, SONET (Synchronous Optical Network) standard was developed in the USA and then SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) standard was established. DWDM systems have been developed to enable the transmission of signals via a single fiber with different wavelengths While determining, the transmission compatibility between the transmission capacities of the transmission systems that constitute the backbone structure in the telecommunication systems and their usability are taken into consideration. Based on the results of these data, it was tried to determine the distant communication systems away from the telecommunication systems, which have the desired transmission capacity and network efficiency in order to be able to carry the information exchange which is increasing in direct proportion with the increase in the data traffic of the personal use and objects needed today. As a result of the study, it was ensured that the remote intermediate communication systems to be used in the topology were preferred with the criteria to increase the network efficiency
